National Weather Service crews visited at least two parts of Michigan to survey damage from a Midwestern storm that hit the state.

The weather service says one F0 tornado touched down in Newaygo County's Croton Township, according to WOOD TV.

Crews will also look at an area between Kalamazoo and Lansing where storm damage was reported. Heavy rains also flooded some roadways in the state.

High winds at the Mackinac Bridge are prompting officials to close the span to semi-trucks and trailers. High winds were an issue last week at the five-mile span connecting Michigan's Upper and Lower peninsulas. On Thursday, officials escorted some taller or larger vehicles across the bridge because of windy conditions.
