A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder in the death of a 58-year-old woman, sex charges, kidnapping, possessing a dangerous weapon and being a habitual offender following an overnight standoff involving the victim and three others in Mecosta County.
Duncan Willis the Second shot and killed one woman, and sexually assaulted three others during the standoff that began Thursday night and ended just before five'oclock Friday morning. Officers say Willis had three prior domestic violence convictions. It's not clear why he went to the home, but police believe he was intoxicated at the time.
Willis is currently lodged in the Mecosta County Jail.
