A federal judge has dismissed the lawsuit against a Muslim rights organization, that was filed because a speech was canceled at Allegan High School two years ago.

The Holland Sentinel reminds us that the police chief had said he was worried about violence against the speaker, Kamal Saleem.  Saleem writes and speaks about his experience leaving Islam and encourages Islamic militants to leave militarism behind.

A conservative, Christian group called the Thomas More Law Center sued the Council on American-Islamic Relations, saying CAIR was trying to suppress Saleem's message.  A member of CAIR sent Allegan High School a letter objecting to Saleem's appearance.
