A guilty plea today in Ionia County
The former office manager of a now-closed Muir doctor's office has entered pleas for multiple crimes including sexual assault.
Marcos Olivas pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer. He also pleaded no contest to one count of assault with intent of sexual penetration and one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
WOOD TV reports one count of fourth-degree CSC was dropped and two counts of third-degree CSC were dismissed.
Olivas was arrested at the home of Dr. Colleen Landino in June. At the time, he was out on bond in a similar case from May. Olivas was described as Landino's boyfriend and former office manager.
The victims in Olivas's cases were not patients at Landino's Muir practice. A no contest plea is not an admission of guilt but is treated as one during sentencing, a date for which has not yet been set.
